Inventory Controller
Must be able to work well with people and have great customer service skills. The receiver will be on site to meet all clients that are dropping off property for consignment. This position is part of client services and also helps with the set-up of our monthly sales. This position is responsible for receiving all of the auction houses inventory and tagging and entering all information into our database. This position also helps on sale days with preview and helping clients with pieces they have purchased at auction.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Entourage (or other e-mail program), Web use. Auctions by the Bay uses a special auction program for our database, no experience is necessary, but previous auction house experience a plus.
• Must have a least two years of warehouse experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work the first weekend of every month.
• Dress is casual however no clothes with holes, etc.
• Knowledge of antiques/auctions a plus.
• This position pays $13.00 an hour. Company hours are Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM.
